In partnership with the Kiwanis Club of Redlands and the City of Redlands, we are bringing Chris Singleton back to Redlands and for one night, to the University of Redlands campus. Chris Singleton is not just a motivational speaker; he is a living testament to the power of resilience, forgiveness, and unity. As a survivor of the 2015 Mother Emanuel Church Tragedy in Charleston, SC, Chris turned personal tragedy into a mission of inspiration and hope. His message is deeply relevant for organizations seeking to overcome obstacles, unite teams, and foster a culture of love and understanding.

Stop by the Armacost Library every second Monday of the month between 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. for a relaxing, drop-in get-together with the Redlands staff community. Enjoy socializing with colleagues from around the campus, meeting new colleagues, or just taking a short afternoon break.Bring your reusable cup or mug and URSA will provide hot water and a variety of teas.

Big Buddies and CHAMPS are youth mentoring programs run out of the Community Service-Learning Office. U of R students are paired 1:1 with a child or teenager for a year-long mentoring program. If you are interested in learning more about these programs, please call CSL 909-748-8288.
