REDLANDS, Calif. – The University of Redlands Men's Basketball team returned from Costa Rica a few days ago wrapping up a trip of a lifetime as they finished off their International Tour.  The second half of their trip they played another team that was comprised of professionals and national team members, did some zip lining, had a surfing lesson and took part in a traditional Costa Rican Folk Dance performance.

The Bulldogs competed in their second game in three days and again put together a strong performance, ultimately falling 82-79 to a team that consisted of six Costa Rican National Team members and another three professional basketball players.  After that the Maroon and Grey were able to experience more of the Costa Rican culture and sites.  This included zip lining through some of their mountainous regions, having a surfing lesson and ending the trip participating and learning the Costa Rican Folk Dance.

"Costa Rica, culturally, is as good as it gets," explained Head Coach Eric Bridgeland.  From the food, to the sites, to the people, it doesn't get any better.  An amazing experience for our group that we will always remember for a lifetime."
