2023 Cross Country Schedule

REDLANDS, Calif. - University of Redlands Head Cross Country Coach Mike Schmidt announced his 2023 Schedule Friday with the Bulldogs opening their season by hosting the Redlands Invitational on Saturday, September 2 at 8:00 a.m. with the start and finish happening inside Ted Runner Stadium.

In 2022 Chloe Bullock (Hood River, OR) was the top Bulldog finisher as she took 10th at the Redlands Invite. On the men's side, recent graduate Enrique Verschoor (Mar del Plata, Argentina) came in 19th.

Following their season opening competition, Redlands will head west into Riverside for the UC Riverside Invitational on Sept. 16. The men took ninth and the women were 11th in 2022.

Then to end September the Bulldogs will travel to the east coast in Pennsylvania for the Paul Short Invitational in Lehigh on Sept. 30. This will be the first trip for the Bulldogs' cross country program outside the west coast for a regular season race since 2019 when they traveled to Minnesota.

The last race of the regular season is at the UCR Highlander Invitational on Oct. 14.

The first postseason race will be the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Championships on Oct. 28. Both the men's and women's teams took fourth at the SCIAC Championships last season.

The NCAA Division III West Regional will be hosted by the University of La Verne on November 11. Bullock qualified for the NCAA Championships with a ninth place finish in Spokane, Washington last season while Verschoor took 24th and Ronan Byrne (Portola Valley, CA) was 28th.

On Nov. 18 the NCAA Division III Nationals Championships will be hosted in Carlisle, Penn. A year ago Bullock took 38th in the event, which was in Michigan and was named the first women's cross country All-American in program history.
